Generation of quantum states with nonlinear squeezing by Kerr nonlinearity

Quantum states with nonlinear squeezing are a necessary resource for deterministic implementation of high-order quadrature phase gates that are, in turn, sufficient advanced quantum information processing. We demonstrate this class can be deterministically prepared by employing single Kerr gate accompanied suitable Gaussian The required coupling depends on the energy initial system and made arbitrarily small. also employ numerical simulations to analyze effects imperfections show which extent they neglected.

We present a scheme for the quantum teleportation of the polarization state of a photon employing a cross-Kerr medium. The experimental feasibility of the scheme is discussed and we show that, using the recently demonstrated ultraslow light propagation in cold atomic media, our proposal can be realized with presently available technology.
